The essay answers should be simple to understand and it should be about things you have personal experience with and knowledge of.This is a general idea that should apply to any college application essay. There is no use in writing an essay with many different points. If your essay is too long you will read more than necessary, and if it is too short you will not get any attention. You will simply be using up valuable writing time.Your college application essay is probably the first piece of written material that you receive in a semester. Therefore, it must be well-written and contain all the information that will be required. College applications are usually over five hundred words, with some transcripts averaging several hundred words. Therefore, keeping the information concise a nd on point is of the utmost importance.For the best chance of writing a successful college application essay, I recommend that you avoid the temptation to get your personal opinions in. In other words, you will need to use your personal experiences, and, when appropriate, your opinion, but use them sparingly and always in an appropriate context.The goal of a college application essay is to develop strong writing skills and ability to explain and describe your own experiences in an effective manner. Using your personal experiences does not make sense unless they are related to the admissions needs of the college, and it is best to avoid writing about your day-to-day life.Another thing to avoid in your college application essay is using an essay topic that is based on your academic ability or accomplishments. For example, if you have an athletic scholarship from Harvard, avoid writing about how much you love the sport. Instead, use your personal experiences to describe something that directly relates to your admission requirements.Something that most students do not realize is that the college application essay is a reflection of you. It is not based on any one trait or accomplishment that you have had in your life. So, if you are focusing on your academic abilities in this essay, do not include your own experiences, instead use those of the people around you.Although it might seem tempting to show off your achievements, do not do so in your college application essay. Instead, be truthful about how you became successful, and then consider your life experiences to build upon your success. If you can successfully relate your personal experiences to what was relevant to your admission's needs, then you will be writing an exceptional college application essay.
